The Children’s Advocacy Center

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Lowndes County, Inc. provides on-site forensic interviews at the request of law enforcement and/or the Department of Family and Children Services where child abuse is suspected.To report a suspected case of child abuse, call 911 or the State of Georgia’s Division of Family and Child Services at 1-855-422-4453.

LAMP Homeless Shelter

New Horizons Shelter serves single men, single women, and families with children from nine surrounding counties. Our Shelter is open to the residents from 4pm to 8am, Monday-Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday. the Day Center is open Monday-Friday 8-4. Call 229-245-7157 to confirm that a space is available for you.
